Who can make a report?
If you own copyright in a work, or are authorised to act for its owner, you can ask us to review material available through PaperMaster. Identify the particular work and the material you believe infringes it.
This page provides our copyright-reporting process; it does not represent that PaperMaster has a registered US DMCA agent or qualifies for a particular legal safe harbour.
What to include
- Your full name, a contact email and your relationship to the rights holder.
- A description of the original copyrighted work, with a source link or supporting information where available.
- The exact PaperMaster page and file URLs you want reviewed.
- Why you believe this use is unauthorised, including any relevant permission or licence information.
If submitting a formal DMCA notice, also include appropriate contact information, your physical or electronic signature, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the owner, their agent or law, and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorised to act for the owner. Send your request
Use our contact form with the subject Copyright removal request. Include the links and information above in your message. If the form cannot accommodate your notice, use the configured contact email shown on the Contact page.
Do not send passwords or unrelated identity documents. Information needed to assess a dispute may need to be shared with the contributor or relevant service provider.
What happens next
We review the report and may ask for clarification or supporting information. Where appropriate, access to material may be restricted or removed. The review time depends on the information supplied and the circumstances; we do not promise a fixed resolution time.
If you believe a removal was mistaken
Contact us with the affected URL and evidence of your permission or rights. We will review the information and explain the relevant next steps. Do not repeatedly re-upload disputed material while it is under review.
